Wow, 2011 is going fast.

Number one guy, LesTKtrooper, has been busy with the 501st.
I've been busy taking care of my Dad.
I really have learned to appreciate the times when He was well and we were a full family with my Mom. The time with them has been too short.

Camping 2010 pictures

 As you might have read below. Camping was the order of the day  and included a trip on the Lake of the Ozarks. First time with my dog.

I Had my first experience boating this past Saturday.
It was a strange feeling, but I also slept in a tent for the first time too.

Problem is-- it cost my mistress money. Mostly in drinks for Captain Bob



What did you do last weekend? I bet it cost you money too.

Thank goodness my mistress says pay day is coming. It'll help pay for my life jacket which made me feel very safe.

so turn in your time sheets on Friday so we can enjoy lots more outings and fun.

An email from my dog

Hi, Riley here with my friend Teddy.

My Master and Mistress are brilliant. They know how to time travel. We went back to 16th  century France. We saw Knights and Ladies and big horses.

But now we are back and the time that matters to my mistress is the one on your time sheets. They are due Friday the the 11th.

(I get my meds on the 12th). Anyway, pay day means I get more Frosty Paws and kibble and more trips in time ( not cheap this time travel thing I am told, but I don't have a wallet)

 

so keep the sheets coming and then the checks will come and my humans will keep me and my buddy happy.

 

Yes, my dog writes emails.  Where I work, payroll is due every 2 weeks. Unfortunately, folks need constant reminders to turn in their time sheets so I can complete the payroll.  Problem is people will also ignore straight reminder emails.

Poetry gets their attention, but sometime I run out of inspiration. Fortunately, I have found that pictures of my Peke, Riley  also gets their attention.  Just returned from the St. Louis Renaissance Faire, which is a pet friendly place  and I was dog sitting for a friend also, so this was today's email reminder.

 

Dinosaurs Unearthed

Thanks to my friend Ellen, my number one guy and I were able to see this exhibit at the St. Louis Science Center last week.

We learned alot  and really enjoyed the exhibit.

A new member of the family

It's been busy the past few months getting the new member of the family settled in. But what a joy.

It's been really nice to learn that my number one guy and myself actually had room in our hearts for another living being.

 

Who is this? It's Riley a 3 year old Pekingnese who came into our lives just before Thanksgiving.

We love him dearly and  he has just made our life more fun. I've been obsessing about him a lot, Hopefully that will wane as time goes on. But it sure is nice when he welcomes me when I come home from work and helps me get exercise on walks.
